It turns out that disabling the password prompt in update-manager and the software center is fairly easy. Unfortunately, the old <a href="http://www.dokuwiki.org/template:minima">theme</a> is not working with the current dokuwiki version, and I didn't really feel reactivating the blog plugin.<br /><br />I'm however pleased with the new setup.
